What is the EVERNU Coaching Process?

It is the goal of my coaching to not only guide the client to a body at a healthy weight but to also gain new understandings and outcomes that foster long-term self-management and growth. By giving you fundamental self-coaching tools and helping you develop self-awareness and action skills, I have served you well as a coach. I come to you as both mentor and coach. Mentoring is bringing to you what God has given me; coaching is drawing out of you what God has put in you.

There are 10 basic coaching tools that I use to strengthen your self-management and growth mindset. These are not “weight-loss” tools per se but are whole life tools that will accelerate any habit or behavior changes that you desire.

Follow the “read more” to see those 10 tools.

Here are those 10 tools and learning application:

  1. Self-Awareness

The ability to be a witness to you own life, without judgement or shame but with curiosity and compassion. Awareness is the beginning of personal transformation. With our self-awareness, emotional maturity and personal strength are greatly limited and subject to your circumstances rather than your God given ability to choose. A leverage tool within this focus is the Enneagram, a personality tool for awareness  of personal motivations and God given strengths.

  2. The Thought Matrix

This is explained in its own Self-coaching course. It is the tool you will use to move away from limiting thoughts toward growth in your habits, your emotions, and beliefs.

  3. Keeping your Word to Yourself

This is the foundation for your confidence and trust that you CAN change lifelong habits and move to higher levels of personal growth. Living in integrity with yourself is foundational to spiritual and personal growth.

  4. The Rule Book

These are the often subconscious rules you create about how life needs to be for you and for those around you in order for you to be happy and free to grow. We look at this more closely in the Love Always course. (EverNu Tribe Bonus Course)

  5. Powerful Questions

These reach beyond surface answers but create the ability to draw out the deeper part of you through questions that open new channels of understanding and possibility. A powerful question leads to deeper self-awareness and deeper love and understanding for the people in your life.

  6. Assessment for Better Choices

This is the tool for powerful choices that allow you to begin from where you are and to grow gradually with self-discovery and solid habit change.

  7. Processing Emotions

The tools for managing and being present with your emotions rather than ignoring, buffering, or denying. Our emotions are powerful things for the discovery of what lies behind our motivations and beliefs. They are teachers for bringing change in ways we never thought possible. Emotional maturity is the foundation for spiritual maturity. To the measure I am willing to grow in emotional strength is the capacity I will have for managing and living from spiritual truth.

  8. Creating a Mindset for Action

This makes it possible to achieve the outcomes and results you have been desiring rather than remaining only in a wishing and hoping relationship with your future. It teaches you to fail well and step up to the next level on the foundation of each failure.

  9. Belief Inventories

This is similar to the Rule book but broader. This encompasses your beliefs about your own abilities, your life, your worth and your belief about life at large and the people in it. This includes the belief that you are responsible for your life and the stewardship of the many blessings, opportunities and gifts given to you by our God.

  10. Loving Always

This is one of the most important teaching I offer to you. Learning to love well is THE key to a life well lived, a life that embraces the difficult things because the results are worth the discomfort …because you are worth the challenges that change creates! We love because we are loved by the one who IS love. This means we can always choose love because He is always our source.
